The Handover Package

A complete API for up to five models, built on the same framework as everything else we deliver, handed to your team as a deployable package. You bring identity, hosting and operations.

What you get

  • A complete API for up to five models — create, read, update, archive, search and pagination — with the same permission model, tenant isolation, audit trail and validation as every system we build. This is the finished surface, not scaffolding.
  • An identity adapter connecting the API to your existing access management, built against a documented contract your system implements.
  • A deployment package: an application artifact ready for AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and your PostgreSQL schema as SQL.
  • Generated API documentation, produced from the same executable definitions that run the API, substantially reducing the risk of drift.
  • Written handover documentation covering configuration, environment, deployment and operational notes.
  • Three months of support from handover.
  • A perpetual licence to run the delivered API.

What you bring

This package assumes real platform capability in-house. It is the right fit only if you have:

  • Identity and access management, and an API that meets our access contract. We integrate with your system; we don’t replace it.
  • Hosting — AWS account, Beanstalk environment, PostgreSQL instance, networking, secrets, backups and monitoring.
  • The capability to deploy and operate it. We hand over a deployable artifact; running it is yours.

Not included

  • User, role and permission management endpoints — your IAM owns those.
  • Event publishing and integration connectors.
  • More than one tenancy layer: a single tenant relationship per record, not nested organisational hierarchies.
  • Custom business logic, calculations or workflows beyond configuration.
  • Deployment, additional environments, monitoring or managed operations of any kind.

Any of these is either a quoted add-on or a reason to look at the Core Package.

Support (3 months). Defects in the code we delivered, questions about configuration and the API surface, and email response within two business days. It does not cover your infrastructure, your identity system, or new functionality. After three months, support is by arrangement.

Access rules, validation, response views, searching, auditing, integration and request shape are all configurable as standard — specified during discovery and fixed at sign-off, with no per-item charge. The full list is in the client guide.

Software delivery

How the build runs, from modelling your business to a deployment package your team can run.

  1. Model the business

We identify the entities, relationships, tenants, users, operations and access rules.

  2. Deliver the common API surface

We configure and generate the standard routes, validation, permissions, auditing and events supported by the framework.

  3. Add business-specific behaviour

We implement the custom rules, calculations, workflows, integrations and operations unique to your system.

  4. Test the complete lifecycle

We verify validation, permissions, data access, auditing, event publication and API documentation consistently across the system.

  5. Package and hand over

We build the deployment artifact for AWS Elastic Beanstalk, export your PostgreSQL schema as SQL, and write the configuration, environment and deployment documentation. Your team deploys it into your own infrastructure, with three months of support covering questions and defects from there.
